Desserts and Snacks

My whole family has a sweet tooth. While I know that sugar, in any form, is not really good for us and that the white stuff is downright toxic to our livers, I feel that expecting us to live without an occasional treat is just too restrictive. When I create desserts and sweet snacks, I never use refined white sugar. My kitchen is stocked with raw honey, pure maple syrup, organic, natural cane sugar (including brown), coconut sugar and I've recently been experimenting with xylitol and erythritol. I very rarely use stevia and I absolutely do not allow any artificial sweetener in my home. Bad news,folks, but Splenda is NOT natural. I plan on writing a post soon on why this and other popular artificial sweeteners are so bad for us. However, if you have a craving for something sweet and at least a bit wholesome, please give one of the recipes on the left a try and let me know what you think!
